BVN

• Desktop click in your Favorite Projects or the Assigned projects block click in the BVN Project View click the Design Review tab

• Desktop click in your NDC block click the Design Review tab

LPO & SAY

• Desktop click Search project click click "Product Certification" in the action bar click in the BVN Project View click the Design Review tab

This tab enables BVN surveyors to manage the Drawing review or Type approval of an equipment.

An equipment certification can happen in 2 ways:

• either a type approval exists for a manufacturer and a generic product (TYPEC); the equipment drawings review is based on the conception of the product.

• or the product design review is requested case by case.

Screen data

According to the context of certification, you visualize :

• either the PDR associated to the certificate, as well as the list of drawings to review (if any registered)

• The PDR is characterized by:

• Project ID: identifier of PDR (code starting with the letters PDR)

• Project Name: real name of PDR

• Client Designation: client designation of the product to certify

• Status: 5 possible statuses:

• Created: the PDR has been created within VeriSTAR New Building, but the review has not started yet.

• Centre assigned: a LPO centre has been assigned to this PDR to perform the design review

• Surveyor assigned: a Surveyor has been assigned to this PDR

• In progress: the product design review has started for this equipment

• Done: the design review has been completed by LPO.
   

• For each registered drawing, the following information is displayed:

• Project - Subfile: PDR identifier.

• Box: box number where paper drawing is physically stored in the LPO centre.

• No.: order number, physical storage reference of drawing and revision, in the LPO centre.

• Drawing nbr.: unique drawing identifier, common to all revisions of a drawing.

• Rev.: revision number

• Title: drawing title

• CAD: link to electronic version of reviewed drawing, if any (the CAD reviewed field must be filled out in the revision detail screen, to be displayed here).

• Pending comm.: number of pending comments attached to the drawing.

• Status: since a revision may be registered in several subfiles, it may have several approval statuses: it is necessary to get a global status, that can be displayed in the list, for each revision. The approval status is displayed the following way:

• if revision is registered in several subfiles, the system displays a global status in the list, as follow:

• the status of current subfile is displayed first;

• then, the least favourable status of revision among all subfiles is displayed in brackets. If it is not possible to get the least favourable status, the application displays a question mark in brackets.
  
  For example: 1b (11) is the global status of revision: it means the status of revision in current subfile is 1b and the least favourable status of revision, among all subfiles it is registered in, is 11.

• if revision is registered in one subfile, the unique status is displayed in the column, and repeated in brackets.

• Approval Date: date of revision approval

• Incoming mail ref.: reference of incoming mail containing drawing or revision, received in the BVN centre.

• Outgoing mail ref.: reference of outgoing mail containing drawing and comments, sent by the BVN centre to the LPO centre.

• or the Type approval associated to the generic product and manufacturer:

• Reference: type approval identifier

• Alias:

• Status: Created, Submitted, In Progress, Completed, Checked or Validated

• Validated on: date the TYPEC was signed.

• Validity: date of TYPEC expiration

Screen features

• In the "Product Design Review" section

• Click to open the PDR.

• Click Assign LPO once you have registered drawings, to designate a LPO centre in charge of the drawing review.

• In the drawings list

• Click to get to the drawing detail page.

• Click Add drawing to register drawings within this PDR

• In the top red & white action bar

• Edit: select another PDR or Type approval to be associated to the product folder.

• In the blue action bar

• Certificate list: list of certificates and reports for the product.

• In the screen tabs

• Product: general information on the product

• Characteristics/Tasks: characteristics and tasks retrieved from generic product and manually added

• Continuation: additional information that will not appear on the first page of the certificate but may be useful

• Milestones: list of main steps of product certification

• Comments: list of comments on product folder

• Invoice: detail of invoice corresponding to the product folder
