List in the action bar
This tab hold the list of certificates and reports for the current product folder.
In most cases, there is one certificate per product folder, but you might need to issue several certificates. For example, you need to issue another type of certificate for the product folder, because the manufacturer has requested both an Inspection Report and a CE (European Community) certification.
Screen data
The tab is split in 2 sections:
Certificates:
Reference
File: if several certificates exist within the same product folder,
their characteristics may be different; you need to indicate which characteristics
will be retrieved in the ship file, and used on the AD523 document that
will be given to the NS Department.
The icon indicates which file should be considered
the reference one.
Certificate number: the field is empty as long as the certificate has not been signed.
This number is made up as follow:
Sequence number (job number)
BV centre's initials (e.g. PRS for Paris)
Year number (e.g. 03 for 2003)
Revision index
Date: expected date of certification
Status: a certificate can be:
Created: created within VeriSTAR New Building: a product folder exists
Centre assigned: a BV centre has been assigned to take care of this certificate.
Surveyor assigned: a surveyor has been assigned to be in charge of the certificate
To be validated: certificate has been submitted for validation to another surveyor
To be signed: certificate has been submitted for signature to another BV centre.
Rejected: certificate has been rejected by the person in charge of validation (not validated)
Validated: certificate has been validated by another surveyor and is waiting to be signed.
Signed: certificate has been issued
Cancelled: certificate has been issued but then been cancelled (for example if it was not correct).
|
The Status field, as well as the Surveyor field (see below) are displayed in red for the certificate designated as the current one. |
Surveyor: user name of the BVN surveyor assigned to certificate
File: link to PDF certificate file (for signed certificates only)
Current
File: if several certificates exist within the same product folder,
this field enables to enter each certificate.
The icon indicates which certificate is the current
one.

A report of BVN intervention is a document that looks like a certificate, except it contains the list of tasks defined in the Characteristics/ Tasks tab, in addition.
Title: report designation
Reference: report reference
Date: creation date of report
Author: user name of person who has generated the report
File: link to report file
