Desktop click the Project ID in the Favorite Projects block click the Tree tab
Desktop click Search project click in the project result list click the Tree tab

This tab displays a general view of the project tree.

The project tree is made of:

the unit structure: tree structure of unit’s systems and products,
interventions (design reviews, product inspections, surveys at yard) required for systems and products.

Only the Project Manager (Leader) can modify the unit structure of a project.

Screen data

Items of the unit structure are represented with icons:

	System
	Product
	Design review
	Product inspection
	Survey at yard

Click the symbols and to unfold/ fold up a tree node.

The status of each intervention is represented with icons:

	Undone
	Done

The checklist's status of each BV activity (LPO, BVN, SAY) is displayed above the tree, on the right top hand.

The root node of a unit structure is always default defined:

in the model unit, the root node has the name of the model unit

in the real model, the root node has the name of the project

Only applicable elements are visible in the project tree.

But you may use the "View all" link (see below) to display all elements (even not applicable ones). However, not applicable elements are not considered in the certification process.

In the tree

Click the name of an element (system/ product/ intervention) to consult its detail:

System/ product (/): Detail of a located element

Design review (): LPO checklist
Product inspection (): Product folder
Survey at yard (): Detail of an intervention

You may not modify or delete the root node of a unit structure.

Right-click a system/ product and select:

"Add Product" or "Add System" : add a new product/ system to the project tree
"Add Intervention": add a new intervention (design reviews, product inspections, surveys at yard)
"delete" : remove an item from the tree.

Only "Added" elements (manually added by Project Manager (Leader)) may be deleted.
To remove a "Selected" element (automatically generated on project creation), change its applicability to "Non applicable".

"make Applicable/ N/A": activate or deactivate an item (make it applicable or not applicable in the certification process).

When deactivating an element, you also deactivate its descendant elements (System/ Product and Interventions).

"duplicate" : create a new product in the project tree by duplication.

Right-click an intervention and select:

"delete": remove the intervention.

Only "Added" interventions (manually added by Project Manager (Leader)) may be deleted.
To remove a "Selected" intervention (automatically generated on project creation), change its applicability to "Non applicable".

"make Applicable/ N/A": activate or deactivate an intervention (make it applicable or not applicable in the certification process).
"make done/ undone": indicate if the intervention has been carried out or is still in progress. The graphic status indicator will be updated (: undone / : done)

In the red & white action bar

View all: display the complete project tree (both Applicable and Non applicable items)
View Applicable: when in the "View All" mode, display the tree with only applicable items.
Non Located products: access to the list of products that are not located in the project tree

In the blue action bar

LPO Project View: access to the LPO project view
BVN Project View: access to the BVN project view
SAY Project View: access to the SAY project view

In the screen tabs

Progress: statistics on the work in progress of each BV activity involved in the project
Project data: general information on the project
Unit data: technical characteristics of the unit (general, hull, machinery)
Class data: technical characteristics of the class
Statutory: international rules for which BV has been delegated by a country to control ship conformity
Contacts: list of the internal and external contacts associated to the project
Reports: list of reports on the project
