Understand your BVN Project View

• Desktop click in the Favorite Projects block or the Assigned Projects block

• Desktop click Search project click in the result list click "Product Certification" in the action bar

This tab contains the list of products to be certified within the current project. The products are default displayed by centre in charge of inspection, but you may change the display (see the "Display by" drop-down menu in the "Screen features" paragraph below).

As every list page, this page holds up to 20 records; if the list has more than 20 records, it is split in several pages, that you can consult using the navigation pane. For more information about the use of the navigation pane, see Use lists.

Screen data

• Generic: name of generic product

• Location: name of located product + link to the product in the Unit structure

• Purchase Order Number: number retrieved from the purchase order

• Current Status: this field may contain:

• either the status of the product's certificate;

• or the certificate number if the product's certificate has the Signed or the Cancelled status

• Graphic progress indicator:

• : the certification of this product is in progress (undone)

• : the certification of this product is over (done)

• Manufacturer: manufacturer of product + link to popup window displaying the manufacturer's contact details.
  If manufacturer is not registered in the BV Company database, the indicator is displayed.

Screen features

• In the products list:

• Click to open the product folder.

• Click the link in the Location column, to display the Project tree with a focus on the corresponding product.

• Click the name of a Manufacturer to display its contact details in a popup window.
   

• In the navigation pane: navigate through the pages of the list (if more than 20 records). For more information on the navigation pane, see Use lists.
   

• In the red & white action bar

• Export excel file: generate a file with the non assigned products, so that the yard can send back a list of manufacturers for those products.

A dialog box is displayed, asking you what to do with the generated Excel file:

• either open the file to print it;

• or download it to your computer: in the second dialog box, choose a folder to download the file, and save it.

• Print: open an HTML page in a secondary window, with the full list of certificates and a printable page layout (then, use the Print function of your browser to print that page).

• Set view criteria: save filter criteria to customize your BVN Project View.

• "Display by" drop-down menu: change the sorting options. Changing the display will modify the first column of the table and the information displayed in the list.
  Choose the type of display and click to display the list of products by:

• Centre: first column = Centre in charge of certification

• additional column: Surveyor in charge

• Product: default display (see above)

• Manufacturer: first column = product manufacturer

• additional column: Purchaser

• Purchaser: products are sorted by the name of their purchaser.

• Certificate: first column = Certificate type (Inspection certificate, CE, Mode 1...)

• additional column: Date (of the last certificate issued for the product)

• Tree: view project tree

• Progress Client: first column = Type of intervention (Frame of certification)
  Additional columns:

• Client designation of product (name of product, as designated by client)

• Survey (BVN centre in charge of certification)

• Provisional Date (expected date of certification)

• Last Status (status of last issued certificate)

• Link to PDF certificate file if certificate is Signed (click )

• Progress Product: first column = Type of intervention (Frame of certification)
  Additional columns:

• BV designation of product (name of product, as designated by BV)

• Survey column (BVN centre in charge of certification)

• Provisional Date (expected date of certification)

• Last Status (status of last issued certificate)

• Link to PDF certificate file if certificate is Signed (click )

• In the blue action bar

• Non located products: access to the list of products that are not located in the tree

• Search Certificates: certificates detailed search form

• Search Products: equipment search form

• Search Comments: comments detailed search form
