The Checklist tab displays the list of categories defined for every subfiles of a project.
A category is a list of requested drawings, meant to be submitted by shipyard or manufacturer so that BV can perform the design review of a given project/ subfile. When registering a submitted drawing, you should link it to a category; once all drawings of a category are reviewed ok, you can set the category as Done (Complete). Once all categories are Done, the LPO contribution to the project is over.
In other words, drawings are classified in drawing categories, and categories make up the checklist of drawings to be reviewed for a given project/ subfile. A mandatory category is one that is automatically generated by the system, according to the project type.
A category can be:
applicable: requested (by a rule or a client) and relevant; an applicable category is either automatically selected to be part of the checklist or manually added by a user. In both cases, it remains into the system, to define the list of drawings to be submitted for a given project/ subfile.
not applicable: generated by the system, but manually removed from checklist, because such a drawing is not necessary to the given project/ subfile.
unselected: generated by the system but removed from checklist by the program.
On this page, each subfile is set on several lines: the first line displays the subfile name, the indicator, and the link "Add category". The following lines display the categories applied to the subfile (and their statuses), and for each category, the possibility to consult the list of "Drawings" as well as the category detail screen.
Screen data
Subfile: name of subfile.
Indicator: subfile status:
if all mandatory categories of subfile are done, the "yes" indicator is displayed;
if some categories remain incomplete, the "no" indicator is displayed.
Category Libelle: name of category.
Status applicable/na: "A" is displayed in the column if category is applicable; if not, "NA" is displayed:
applicable category (A): component of checklist, that can be deactivated manually (to become Not Applicable) or via the execution of a calculation rule (to become Unselected).
non
applicable category (NA): category that has been manually removed
from the checklist by the Project Manager (Leader).
For example, one of the ship's characteristics has changed; as
a result, the inspection of an equipment is no longer necessary. A NA
category can be reactivated to recover its position within the checklist.
Status auto/manual: indicates if category has been automatically generated by the system ("auto") or manually added to the subfile ("manual").
Category status:
complete: all drawings registered in this category have been reviewed Ok and all comments have been cleared. The category has to be manually put to Complete.
not complete: some drawings of the category have not been reviewed ok yet (there may remain unsolved comments or the approval status may be on hold).
|
Once all categories associated to a subfile are complete, the subfile's indicator automatically becomes "yes". Once a category is complete for all subfiles it is associated to, it switches to Done in the project tree. |
Registered drawings: number of registered drawings in this category for this subfile.
Drawings ok: number of drawings that have been reviewed ok (all comments have been cleared) in this category for this subfile.
