This page holds a detailed form to be completed in order to search for drawings and/ or revisions.
Complete the search form, using one or several criteria, among the following:
Project ID: if you have navigated through a project/ subfile before getting to the search screen, this field is automatically filled up, but editable.
Project name: commercial name of project.
Subfile: if you have navigated through a project/ subfile before getting to the search screen, this field is automatically filled up. Choose another value in the drop-down menu to look into another subfile.
Subdivision: if Subfile is Offshore, you can choose a subdivision in the drop-down menu.
Box: box number where paper drawing is physically stored.
Category:
click to open the popup reference list of requested drawings.
Drawing number: type a drawing number in the text field (a drawing number can be common to several revisions).
Title: type a drawing title in the text field (a drawing number can be common to several revisions).
Revision: search for all revisions or last revision of drawing, by clicking the appropriate radio button.
Document type: select a type in the drop-down menu:
Bundle:
document is a whole of micro-drawing sheets to be reviewed together at
once.
Calculation:
calculation directory, submitted by shipyard and to be reviewed by the
LPO centre. For example, a calculation relating to the strength of materials.
Drawing:
document should be 99% a drawing to be reviewed.
Nomenclature:
annex submitted with the drawing, including comments or explanations on
drawing. A nomenclature document is meant to be submitted "for information"
(see Action field below).
Report:
along with drawings, you may receive reports relating to rules and regulations
about the drawing. Those are different from what is usually called reports
in VeriSTAR NB (progress reports...).
Classification:
specification describing the object (ship, machinery...).
Status:
check the check box "registered" to perform the search on registered drawings only
use the radio button to select the Stamp: among registered drawings, indicate if you wish to search for
all registered drawings;
drawing without an approval stamp;
drawings with an
approval stamp.
use the radio button to select a Return status: among registered drawings, indicate if you wish to search for:
all registered drawings;
drawings that have not been returned to shipyard (the Outgoing mail field of revision detail is empty)
drawings that have
been returned to shipyard (the Outgoing mail field of revision detail
has been filled out)
if you have not checked the "registered" check box, select other drawing statuses, by checking the corresponding boxes (several possible):
Cancelled: rejected drawings.
Dropped: submitted via VeriSTAR NB
Expected: drawings that should be registered, according to checklist.
To be registered:
drawings dropped by shipyard in VeriSTAR NB and accepted by the LPO centre.
Action type: the check boxes default state is "checked". Keep them checked or uncheck them as needed:
for comment: drawings submitted prior to the usual time (when subfile is Offshore) in order to get comments in advance.
for information: submitted as an informal notice, in order to get notes from LPO. For every subfile (not only Offshore), a drawing for info may also be used to complete or explain another drawing.
for
review: most drawings are submitted for review, in order to get
an actual stamp.
Incoming mail number: reference of incoming mail containing the drawing or revision.
Outgoing mail number: reference of outgoing mail containing drawing and comments on drawing or revision
Registering date/ Approval date/ Return date (the three criteria work the same way): set a registering/ approval/ return period by entering a starting and an ending date (type or use calendar). The search will be performed among drawings that have been registered/ approved/ returned within the specified period of time.

Click to launch
the search: the result list is displayed on the usual drawings/ revisions
list, and the results are sorted by ascending project ID, then subfile
name, then order number.
