Issue a certificate

BVN

• Desktop click in the Favorite Projects block click in the BVN Project View click Sign in the action bar.

• Desktop click in the Assigned Projects block click in the BVN Project View click Sign in the action bar

• Desktop click in your To be validated/ To be signed block click Sign in the action bar

• Desktop click in the NDC block click Sign in the action bar

• Desktop click Search project click in the result list click "Product Certification" in the action bar click in the BVN Project View click Sign in the action bar

This page enables to issue a certificate for a given product. Issuing a certificate means signing it.

The Sign action is available in the Product folder if:

• the certificate holds one of the 3 statuses: Surveyor assigned, Validated, To be signed;

• a manufacturer has been designated for the product folder;

• you belong to the BV centre assigned to this certification.

Before signing the Certificate, make sure:

• The reference documents are registered in the Product tab

• The Last inspection date and the Quantity are recorded to the Characteristics/ Tasks tab

1. Complete the signature form:

• Surveyor: name of surveyor assigned to current certificate. This field is automatically filled in but you may designate another surveyor, by clicking .

• Marking: filled in if you have completed this field in the Charac/ Tasks tab.
  The marking is the physical stamp marked on the product itself (as a proof of certification): the marking number contains the first 3 parts of the certificate number (sequence number/ centre's initials/ year number) plus an eventual precision on the testing.

• Certificate number: type a number, gathering the following information:

• Sequence number (job number)

• BV centre's initials (e.g. PRS for Paris)

• Year number (e.g. 03 for 2003)

• Revision index

2. Click to validate the signature of certificate: the Certificates list is displayed and updated with:

• the certificate number and the Signed status displayed in the list;

• the link to the PDF certificate file (the file name uses the certificate number).
   

Click to leave the signature form without saving.
