Connect to VeriSTAR New Building

Launch your web browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape) and connect to the Internet

A link to VeriSTAR New Building is also available on the BV intranet.

Type the following URL in the address bar: http://www.veristarnb.com
Click "OK" or press the Enter key of your keyboard.
The VeriSTAR NB login page is displayed.
Type in:

your user name,
your password.

Make sure to protect your user name and password, so that no one uses your identity in your place.

Click to submit, or press Enter: your VeriSTAR NB Desktop is displayed.

It is advised to add VeriSTAR NB to your browser favourites, in order to get a quicker access to the application on your next visits.
For example, in Internet Explorer: from the Favorites menu, select "Add to favorites" and click OK.
At the bottom of the page, your name, profile and previous connection date and time (GMT) are displayed; as a security measure, please make sure this date corresponds to your last connection.
Once connected, you can easily change your password:

click Profile in the toolbar;
click "Change your Password" in the action bar;
save your modification.

Quit VeriSTAR New Building

To quit the application:

in the toolbar, click Disconnect: the login window is displayed again;
then click to quit/ close the web browser.

Please, disconnect when you are done with your job in VeriSTAR NB, to make sure nobody uses the application with your identity.
Before disconnecting, if you are modifying or adding a record, make sure to save input data for the current record: to do so, click at the bottom of the record form, then use the disconnection button.
If not saved, the information typed in the form will be lost after disconnection.

If VeriSTAR NB remains open too long without an action, you will be automatically disconnected. Please, re-type your user name and password, then re-log in. The last visited page will be displayed again.
